Work Continues
Wow, the weeks have really flown by. Its wetter and colder out but AC is still plugging away out there whenever there is enough of a break in the rain. Chris and Adam have been coming by to help when they can which has been wonderful! Especially since everything happening right now involves being MUCH higher in the air than I can stomach.
The whole northern wing (Mom and Dad’s wing) has rafters and sheathing up with a layer of plastic to protect it from rain. AC is now working on getting the upper parts of the living room walls up so he can start roofing that. We’ve had a number of torrential rainstorms, a light dusting of snow and disappointing dearth of dry days. But there have been enough to keep working away.
We also found this hansom little friend waiting for us in the barn one evening, so I guess we aren’t the only ones wanting to ride out some of the worse weather inside 🙂
